Managing Objects via the RADb Portal

Object Management

The RADb Portal makes it easy to create, modify, and delete RADB objects right from your web browser. To carry out any updates, you'll need a "Maintainer" password. If you've forgotten your password, contact RADb Support for assistance.

Creating Objects

  • The RADb Portal form allows you to create new objects by selecting the type in the "Specify object type" field and then clicking on "Add New"

  • A form will appear for you to fill out the object's details.

  • Common objects you may want to create include route and aut-num objects.

    • The aut-num object outlines the routing policy for your autonomous system (AS) number, with only one needed per AS number.

    • The route object define2 the IP address blocks (prefixes) you want to announce, mainly indicating the origin AS number.

Modifying or Deleting Objects

  • To change an existing object, type its details in the "Search String" field and hit "Search."

  • The existing objects will display, allowing you to either modify or delete them.

  • You can also enter your maintainer ID in the "Maintainer name" field to view all objects associated with your maintainer profile, letting you update or delete them individually.
