Using BCRYPT-PW with the RADb

Generate Password

RADb’s default authentication method is BCRYPT-PW. You can use our https://www.radb.net/crypt_calculator/ to generate a BCRYPT hash for your mntner ogbject.

You can create / change maintainer passwords here - https://www.radb.net/my/proctor/auth

Please be sure to note as you will need the plain-text password to modify objects and submit auto-dbm@radb.net object submissions.

Submit Objects

Now add objects to MAINT-FRAZIER using BCRYPT-PW authentication.

At the beginning of the message body place the password attribute followed by your plain text password.

The password is only specified once but works to authorize any number of objects in your submission.
